Someone FM is a place to meet people through conversation. Find someone you would enjoy talking to, send a Ring, and see where the conversation goes. Just your voices, with room for a little play.
A person, then a conversation
In the iPhone app, people have profiles with a name, age, interests, and something they could talk about for hours. You choose whom to Ring; a conversation starts when the invitation is accepted and both people join. You can decline or leave at any time.
Play a game, draw together, send a reaction, or listen to a song preview while you talk. If you want to stay in touch, send a friend request and Ring again another day.
A smaller internet
We are interested in an internet where people feel closer to one another. Someone FM is a small experiment in making space for that, one conversation at a time. It is for adults aged 18 or older.
Someone FM is operated by People Make Things, Inc. and is part of the human internet project.
The browser experience
The website also offers one-to-one audio conversations through browser matching and private call links. Those browser sessions work differently from the account-based People and Ring experience in the iPhone app.
